To Poop and Beyond!

Well, been awhile. I want to update this again, along with his calendar...so getting things sorted today!

Pooper is 16 months old! He is getting so big, and learning so much! Today Daddy works til 4 PM, then we are going swimming...that will be a nice change of pace. Getting a nice tan, teaching Pooper about the water, hanging out with Lawrence; ahh sounds amazing!

I need to charge the camera and start taking more pics, and get some pro pics done soon...On my list!

Sittin' and Scootin'.

So, it is official. Ethan is a scooter, hehe =} Also, when we went to the mall yesterday, Tiffany was there and wanted to take some of his 5 month pictures...Well, we sat him on this marble that had a mirror for a background (it was under the escalator), and he sat up by himself, pushing himself up to look around and such..How adorable!

Here is a secret: Ethan's 6 month birthday falls exactly on Lawrence's 25th birthday, so we are having a two-fer party..but he thinks it is just for Ethan..We will then be having a surprise party for Lawrence on the same day, with an after party for him and his friends at our place. I think it will be fun! We are having it at Lisa's so that way I can setup without him knowing..Sneaky, eh? =) So I will be sending out invites! It will probably be the 15th or the Sunday around then, so that Lisa will be home and gives us time to prepare for 'Ethan's party'..hehe.

Well, we have been going to the mall a lot to get some exercise and look around...and are hoping to hit the pool soon.. I am beyond excited to see how Ethan enjoys it.

We went to the Ann Arbor Art Fair, and that was pretty nice...I got some cool ideas for my future painting adventures, so we shall see how that turns out.

Let There Be Sleep!

Well, Ethan is sleeping..I hope. I swear, being a mother brings so much worry.

"Is he breathing?"
"Did he get caught and that is why he is not fussing"
"Is he mad at me for letting him fuss for a moment?"

blah. but usually those are not true, just part of being a mommy, for me at least =}
Well, Ethan was exhausted from yesterday. My dad came over for his weekly Saturday stay so that the love and I can sleep...Amazing, yes! Well, Sunday we went to breakfast at Bob Evan's, then cleaned up some before Lawrence had to work. Well, then my dad asked us to go to the park, so we went to the park and watched him played Tennis and Ethan and I went for a stroll...It was so nice out, but I wish we were able to swim...but we are saving that for a time when daddy can come so he does not miss out on his first swim =D

So, all that sun and activity wore Ethan out and he went to bed at 7:30 pm. He usually goes down by 9, but we had been trying to get him to bed by 8 or 8:30, since he seemed to sleep as long either way...Well, 7 is too early for him it seems! He woke up at 5 am to eat, then played, and now is battling a nap which the nap seems to be winning currently, so I decided to make a post before my busy day begins. =} So 8:30 pm is the latest for bed for him now, since 5 am does not work for the love or myself..hehe.

Well, Ethan had his doctor's appt, and it went well! He weighed 15 lbs 7 ounces, I believe, and is 27 inches long! He is in the 95% for height and his head circumference (Thank daddy for that one =D) and like 50% for weight. The doctor is not worried about weight because just at the office she could tell how active he is. He LOVES tummy time, and trying to crawl.

Yesteday Ethan finally figured our the jumping part of the 'jump-eroo'...finally! So I caught a little video of him jumping with grampa Jay, which was adorable. He also 'scoots' backwards and now forwards..and he did crawl 1 length, and I have video for proof. Sorry grammypoo, that is what happens when you abandon us for a cruise! =}

For the 4th of July, Lawrence and I went to his friend's house for a party, then with his friends we went to a school for the fireworks (that were awesome! And we got an amazing video, woohoo!), then back to hangout. It was so nice, but we kept catching ourselves talking about Ethan..hehe..cannot escape him even when we are supposed to be 'young and free'. We just love him too much and missed him! Ethan will get his first fireworks next year, he was too young this time around. He slept great through all the fireworks this year =}

Well, I should try to nap while I can...The love works til 2 pm ish and then we are going to go swimming if warm enough....

Oh, Tiffany finished all of Ethan's pictures that she did, and the disc should be here any day now. I am excited to upload his new pictures and then get some more taken next week, the 17th or such.
