Let There Be Snacks!

Aha, so I promised I would write more, and here I am =}

So, today Ethan had some of those little snacks, like cheerios, but they disolve quicker so he cannot choke..He seems to like them, but has not gotten the concept of 'grabbing' them himself...aha, but still so cute!

He tried to hold his sippy cup today, but of course it is de-sippy-itized, because I took the lid off just so he could learn to hold a cup with handles for car rides...but he can drink out of it great!

So, today Lawrence had to work at 2, so we played our new WII, Mario Carts, and just hung out...Tonight Squishtush and I are going to Grammypoo's to do laundry, hangout in the free air, and fast internet =D

Ethan is grouchy lately, I think that is due to teething, so maybe these little cheerio wanna-be's feel good on his gums! :D

Lawrence has the day off tomorrow, so we are going to do something....not sure what yet..ugh Ethan tried to choke just now, stinker..but all is well.

So, let's see. What is new. Well, we did some cleaning last night, but it is due again..aha..the loveliness of having a family that is messy =) At least we are having fun, but that reminds me of a quote I try to remember...since I am a clean freak, I try to heed it before it is too late =D :::

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait 'til tomorrow
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs. dust go to sleep

A Frame!

So, our Squishtush does this new move.

He gets in an army push up stance, then pushes his bum in the air, like making an "A"...So fricka cute =D

He is getting so big, it is obnoxious..He has his doc. appt the 31st so we can see if he is getting fatter....Woot!

So, I have been pumping on and off since he was born, since breastfeeding did not happen..still a sore subject for me, as I miss it. =( But I was up to a decent amount, then I lost it all from stress...Well, now I am getting some again! Ethan is 6 months and I still can make him milk, how amazing is that =) SO I am pumping my bum off every 2 hours and will til he is 2 years old, even if it means getting a mere ounce a day, it is so worth it..He savors every last drop! =D

So, what is new.
Well, the surprise Cedar Point trip is happening the 24th and 25th now. We will leave around 3 pm, drop Ethan off at Grampypoo's, then head to Cedar Point..I am driving so it will be a huge surprise! I am sure he will catch on when it says 'Welcome to Ohio!', but he will still be surprised!

Ethan and I have been going outside more and reading a book a day, starting later but making great traditions for life =D For a few days I have not been feeling well, so we have been lazier, but hopefully the weather suns up and we can go swimming today. =)

So we went to lunch with my mom Sunday, not sure if I posted that yet, since I have been slacking but I PROMISE to write more, as I made it in my 'daily tabs' section, so now I have no choice. It was nice and it went well. The food sucked, which was a huge disappointment, but oh well. Ethan was a little nervous but he was tired so he had an excuse...

Also, we bought a high chair! We are doing Baby Led Weaning, but since he will not touch his food, so weird for a baby lol, I feed him off my fork and he loves it! I love his faces =P He ate Peaches and Cottage Cheese today with me, and we got some video! MUST get cord! He also had some bananas and rice the other day...He is doing so well, my little boy just skipped purees!

So, if Tiffany cannot do Ethan's 6 months pictures then I will have a little photo shoot. We are still working on daddy's surprise book from Father's Day (Hey, it is much more work than I thought!), but it is fun. =D

Well, I think that is all for now. Ethan is scooting, A'ing it =P, we are going to Cedar Point, tackling solids, and enjoyin' life =D
